I warrant all of my swords and forged blades against defects in my workmanship. I will repair or replace any sword, at my expense, that fails due to any faults in the structure of the blade/sword.
I will repair any European or Fantasy hilts that work themselves loose under normal use. I will recover leather grips for a small fee, this is a natural product and is subject to shrinkage/wear with age and time. All swords will need to be regripped from time to time, no matter the era/culture.
The warranty covers damage that may occur during normal usage, that should reasonably be expected of a sword. These are not lightsabers and I will not warrant damage that occurs from cutting inappropriate targets, or generally abusive scenerios. This includes, but not limited to trees, overhead ceiling fans/ceiling trusses, dead bone of any kind (uh... calcium is a mineral guys....that means it's a rock), etc. I've seen repair requests for swords damaged from all of these.
I also will not warrant the swordsmanship abilities of the user. I know that this may sound harsh, but I have had production swords returned to be repaired that were bent from poor cutting abilty/edge alignment. Scars in the blade caused from stiking the garbage can you have the target resting on also are not covered.
